Request deletion

Vitalscope Wellness is operated by Michael Clarke, trading as Vitalscope. In the app, open Settings → Delete Account. Enter your current password and complete the explicit confirmation. The app sends an authenticated deletion request to Vitalscope and performs the deletion synchronously.

If you cannot access the app, contact support@vitalscope.io from the email address associated with your account where possible. Do not include passwords or unnecessary health information.

What happens next

The deletion flow removes the Vitalscope account, authentication tokens and sessions, shared Wellness data, Withings connections and summaries, lab reports, extracted biomarkers and stored lab files. It also clears local account storage, local health records, credentials, pending analytics and local recommendation state.

Purchase records are scrubbed and detached from the account rather than used to preserve Premium access. The current pseudonymous analytics identifier supplied by the app is hard-deleted from Vitalscope analytics during the same deletion transaction; the local identifier is then rotated. The deletion-completion event is not sent afterward because it could recreate data for the deleted identifier.

Need help?

Deleting your Vitalscope account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately through Apple or Google. Apple Health/HealthKit, Google Health Connect, Withings, app-store subscription records and other third-party data are not controlled entirely by Vitalscope and may require separate action with those providers.

Deletion of Vitalscope-controlled data is synchronous when the request succeeds. Backup retention and deletion timing cannot currently be verified from the implementation. See the Privacy Policy for data categories and retention details, or contact privacy@vitalscope.io for privacy questions.
